Karen has premiered works commissioned in her honor, and renowned and beloved composer Morten Lauridsen has dedicated his “La Rose Complete” to her. She is on faculty at the prestigious Credo Chamber Music Festival in Oberlin, OH, and she toured with the Credo Trio for several years. In recognition of her impact as a music educator, Karen received an award onstage in Verizon Hall for “inspiration and outstanding leadership in music education” in 2015.

Certified in Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Karen completed her training at Oberlin, Juilliard, and Carnegie Mellon. She contributed original music and arrangements to the Broadway show, “Amazing Grace,” and she helped to found several musical education institutions in Bucks County (including SGM). Karen received her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from The Oberlin Conservatory in 2005, and she completed additional training in choral conducting at Westminster Choir College.

Karen has solo CD albums released on her own label, LifeSpring Music, LLC, and she resides in Fountainville, PA, with her husband and three daughters.
